Bookings can be made over the phone (504) 481-1327 or via email reelpeace@aol.com. When leaving a message please provide both daytime and nightime phone numbers as most days we are on the water and are unable to return calls until dark. We know it is sometimes inconvenient to discuss plans at night; but trust us, you want to fish with someone who is constantly on the water.
Reservation Policy:
Reservations are secured by providing a credit card number as a deposit. Your card will be immediately charged for half of trip fee, with the remainder payable "on the dock" after the trip. The ultimate cost of the trip is based upon the number of anglers plus fuel used on the trip. Any variances in billing procedures must be established in advance with Devlin Roussel. Changes in procedure will not be made on the day of the trip.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations communicated with Reel Peace with 15 days notice will not be charged a fee. Cancellations with less than 15 days notice will be charged to your card for 1/2 of the trip fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours will be billed for the full trip fee. Cancellations must be confirmed with Devlin Roussel (504-481-1327); voicemails shall not be binding.
Cancellations due to weather (in Reel Peace's sole discretion) will result in no additional charge; however the deposits will remain on the books of Reel Peace and are valid for 1 year.
Importance of Safety:
Fishing is our passion; but we always consider safety first. We will contact you in the event weather forces us to cancel. We always attempt to make this decision days in advance of a trip; but the Captain always reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to safety precautions and the best available weather information.

We meet our customers at Cypress Cove Marina in Venice, Louisiana. From downtown New Orleans, take Hwy 90 over the Mississippi River bridge (Crescent City Connection). Take the Belle Chase Highway (Hwy. 23) South all the way to Venice. Cross over the levee in Venice and turn right.Continue around the bend by the convenience store and go about a half a mile and look for the Cypress Cove Marina Sign on the left. Turn Left just pass this sign (Coast Guard Road) and go almost to the end and you will see the entrance to Cypress Cove Marina on the right. Follow this road to the end and the Lodge is on the left. You can't miss it.
