What a day yesterday turned out to be. I hadthe pleasure of fishing with Lenny Eng and crew
from Jersey. We started out the day with a bit of
a run but it payed off big. We set up for our first
drift on top of some great marks but didn't get
bit. We reset and caught a blackfin. The third
started good with a 40 pound yellowfin. It was
on from there. We doubled up on a 70 and 85
pounder on the next drift and following that it
was much of the same. We even caught a 70
pounder on on both lines at one point. It doesn't
pay to be greedy. We finished the day with 10
yellowfin and a few blackfin. All fish were
caught on chunks. The gulf is on right now! Give
